I've been trying a bit of cut-out style lately, and doing a lot of Discworld fanart, so I figured, 'Why not combine the two?!' Ok, from left to right, starting at the top, we have: Adora Belle Dearhart, Moist, Vetinari, Death (kind of hard to mistkae that one), Amazing Maurice with Peaches and Dangerous Beans, Conina, Coin, Verence, the Librarian, Twoflower, Ponder, Rincewind, Bilious (with some wow wow sauce hangover cure), Mr Teatime, Agnes Nitt, Walter Plinge (why? I felt like it), Nanny Ogg and Granny Weatherwax. I'd eventually love to do every character, but I have to finish the books first
I like these - in particular I think your Lord V and your Granny Weatherwax make more sense of the characters than other versions I've seen. I love Coin's slightly hunted look too.
Thankyou I'm afraid a lot of my Granny Weatherwax is due to constantly looking at Paul Kidby's work *head desk* I had that book long before I ever started reading Discworld, so his interpretations are proving hard for me to shake
Coin! crazy eyes! And Vetinari is perfect! You have summed up the character in simple but efficacious shapes. Black, tall, like a straight column... awesome!
Thanks heaps Haha Coin - he was the one I remebered least of all in visual terms (which is why he looks like he's wearing a dress....*face palm*), but yes, crazy eyes!
LOVE Vetinari, and Bilious is the "oh god" of hangovers, right? He looks perfect, with the stain on his toga and everything (gross...) And Death looks precious. I need to read more Discworld novels so I'll recognize everyone!
